Sugar, our reason of being.

Zukán was founded in 1994 with the clear commitment of service and adaptation to customers´ needs, covering an important gap in the existing market in the distribution of sweetener products, mainly white sugar, in the Region of Murcia.
A few months after beginning our activity in the sector of sugar, we also started with the commercialization of Seed oil, (sunflower and soybean), which we bought in bulk and bottled in plastic, to get our own industrial distribution to the target customer.
In 1996, with the construction of a factory for the manufacture of liquid sugar, we specialised in the distribution of glucose, and customized liquid and sweetener products, offering a product of the highest quality and more homogeneous than crystal sugar.
Modern customers who demand very high standards, require a degree of homogeneity in the manufactured product that only liquid sugar can guarantee. In this way Zukán professionalizes in order to create custom-made products.

Our company has a clearly customer-orientated point of view. If there is one thing that identifies us, it is our capacity to study our customers´ needs and to create customized solutions. We cover these needs in sectors as important as nougat candies, ice creams, canned fruit, marzipan, confectionary manufacturer, juice factories, soft drinks, etc.
From our Research & Development department we provide solutions to different sectors of the food industry for the formulation of its products and their subsequent success in the market, adapting ourselves to the various sceneries in the sugar sector.
Our motto is “a product for each customer”, in fact many of our products have the name of the final customer. We take special care for the customer relations, keeping the confidentiality of special developments obtained from customer cooperation to optimize the products every customer needs.
